We like to work as hard as we play. We are gritty but sensitive and illusive without being aloof. We like sleeping under the stars and sailing across oceans. We like outlaw bars, and the smell of diesel fuel. If we were a bag of chips, it would be salt and vinegar. And we cry at the end of Sleepless in Seattle. We’re humans, and we love the ever evolving story of the human spirit, bubbling up out of the bilge and into the universe. We are Denis Dowling & Allie Medeiros. Pleased to meet-cha.

denis dowling
Denis is a seasoned mariner and has a unique skill set behind the lens. Having traveled over 100,000 miles at sea, he is at home in the elements and accustomed to pushing his work to the limits. His adventurous nature often leads him to some rather unique vantage points; taking the camera to the masthead, or wrapped around the end of the bowsprit, and to the very edges of the earth. His images showcase this perspective in a raw, yet refined way.
allie medeiros
Allie grew up among the seafaring folk of New England. Working on the wharves from a young age, she was eventually drawn to a life at sea. Allie loves traveling to outlandish places, connecting with interesting people, and being inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her. Lighthearted behind the camera, but attentive to details, Allie’s ability to dream up and style a shot results in polished and natural images.
